On this first-year course, and following from Beginners 1 you will learn the basics of the Spanish language.
Counting from 20 to 100. Naming family members. Saying how many brothers & sisters you have. Saying and asking where you work. Giving your address. Saying how old you are. Saying what you like. Saying your are hungry, thirsty, hot, cold, in a hurry, etc. Saying you have a headache, toothache, etc. Conjugation of verbs.

Course Outline
This course is for those who have been studying Spanish for around 6 years. The Higher 1 course covers communicative resources such as expressing desires, complaints, and needs, while also proposing solutions. You will also learn how to take and leave messages. Regarding grammar, you will use the subjunctive tense, and learn to use the reported speech. You will also learn to write letters reporting problems. All of this is supported with speaking games, listening activities, dictation and writing, etc.
We use the textbook "Aula Internacional 3".

Booking a hotel room verbally and in writing giving more detail than in module 2. Complaining verbally and in writing for services at a hotel or restaurant. Saying & asking in the plural what food or activity we like doing. Introduction of a dozen irregular verbs in the singular & plural form. Describing a hotel and house. Parts of the house and furniture & appliances. Ordinal numbers until 10th. Write simply about selling a property. Comparatives & superlatives. Weekly practice of verbs in the present, few in the past, and future.
